Summary: My family and I have been vacationing at The Inn at Otter Crest for over 50 years. The Grande Dame of the Oregon Coast still shines proudly, beckoning guests from all over the world. The views are breath-taking; from the expanse of the great Pacific Ocean to the stunning gardens, there is beauty around every corner. A ten-minute walk along fragrant and colorful pathways lead you to the amazing Devils Punchbowl and the famous Mo’s Chowder House. For fine dining in a casual atmosphere, nothing beats the Spyglass Restaurant that sits overlooking Otter Rock. Binoculars at every table allow you to watch whales, sea lions and gulls nesting along the jagged coastline while enjoying a superb dining experience. The ribs are outstanding and the local beverages on tap are the perfect ending to a day that will live in your memory for a lifetime. The details: The staff is welcoming, efficient and helpful, without being obtrusive. We stayed in a pet friendly suite overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We had a kitchenette that was handy for preparing coffee and snacks. You can even broil a steak right in the room. The fridge is spacious and the freezer is very handy. The laundry room is near the pool, and everything is within an easy stroll along beautiful garden pathways. If you do need a ride, the friendly staff is happy to chauffer you to your destination. Nestled in a picturesque setting along the rugged Oregon coastline, a lifetime of memories is waiting for you at The Inn at Otter Crest.

Summary: Great resort. Definitely well taken care of and I love the unique setup and every room. I love that there's many different rooms to choose from. We had the best of you ever looking out on the beach below us. Staff were amazing and I loved all of the amenities but definitely need to stay longer next time because one night and half the day was not enough time to enjoy it all. The beach was easy to access on their property and then there was Devil's punch bowl that was not too far away of a walk.

Summary: Gorgeous property on the beach! The location was great, staff were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the unit was outdated and the smell was difficult to tolerate. For those who are sensitive to musty/ old furniture and carpet smell, this property is not recommended.

Summary: This is our second stay. Unit 114 this time. Smaller than our previous stay and definitely in need of some TLC. Noticed that some of the linens were not actually cleaned, just folded up and put away. Everything else was great though. The view was amazing and the overall grounds of the resort are amazing...lush gardens, quiet. Lots of wildlife around too!

Summary: Beautiful grounds. Stunning views. Helpful, friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. 4 stars because we had neighbors move in the last night and either the walls are very thin or the basic, hollow core adjoining door allowed way too much sound between our rooms. We could hear them talking (normal volume) and even make out some words. Also, the male was a snorer. While I could sleep, my partner had a very difficult time. I was recovering from a cold so I imagine my occasional coughing wasn’t a treat for them either. We’d love to come back but hope they’ll address the sound proofing a bit.

Summary: The room we ended up in was only tolerable between the end of housekeeping finishing up next door (we could hear everything said on the two way radio turned up full volume) and presumably when the next group would check in. There is virtually no sound barrier between walls or ceiling. We heard every word spoken by our neighbors (particularly their screaming and loud children between 11pm-midnight and 5 am to 6 am). BTW other people’s lack of self awareness not the fault of hotel - I wish people could be courteous of those around them. We checked out early knowing we would not be refunded for the second night because we couldn’t spend another night of 3 or less hours of sleep. So all in all, our 21 hours at Otter Creat were really only pleasant when we were not actually at the resort or the hour we spent on the patio eating before leaving. We won’t be back.
