Summary: I just completed a 3 week stay in Dalian and surrounding area. Hotel was very close in experience to a Shangri-La. Cleanliness was very good, rooms were great. Housekeeping staff was outstanding as was laundry service. Pool use requires bathing cap and a couple other rules. What passes for a business office is not what I expected and requires staff assistance. Scope of business office services is limited, don't count on needing anything printed. Not a lot of western travelers frequent the hotel, so in depth communication can be challenging but not unsolvable. Staff made every attempt to accommodate my needs.

Summary: Very helpful, respectful and friendly staff. The hotel was very clean and the people were very helpful and did everything they could to provide a great stay. It's close to shopping and dining.

Summary: The hotel is much nicer inside than its exterior look. The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly and well trained. I was given a room on the smoking floor on the first night and it smelled very strong. The next day I changed a room to a non smoking floor which was much better, but it still doesn't smell pleasant. The breakfast was ok.
