Positive: Super comfortable bed. Breakfast was phenomenal! The hosts Meghan and Brad were lovely friendly people. Fresh bake cookies upon arrival was a lovely touch. The common area and deck were clean and welcoming.

Positive: The location is perfect on the north side of Lake Wissota with beautiful views and a nice deck. No stairs to the main level, but you go downstairs for breakfast. The host couple is very nice.
Negative: Some of the breakfast was too sweet (even for me). Breakfast meats had good flavor but were cold and dry.

Positive: Breakfasts were absolutely delicious! Triple berry french toast, a wonderful quiche, fresh fruit and more, most or all sourced locally. Coffee available beginning at 6:30am was a great plus! View from our room (Wind & Waves) and the deck outside our room, where I sat quite a bit, was so peaceful with Lake Wissota and the beautifully landscaped property. Fire pit at night was a special treat! The owners are personable and very welcoming. And Beth is a fabulous chef! And it's only a couple miles to Lake Wissota State Park and a couple blocks to Old Abe State Trail.
Negative: My only thought is that the deck is in need of restaining/painting, but I'm not sure how an owner accomplishes that in decent weather when the Inn is full most of the time. It certainly didn't take away from our wonderful stay.
