Positive: Very friendly hosts in a beautiful and convenient location. Very comfortable and well equipped room. Cake left in the room each afternoon is a very thoughtful and tasty treat. Superb breakfast with excellent choices

Positive: Everything. The house. The spacious bedroom. The lounge and dining room. Quiet location but can walk to Instow for pubs. Lovely homemade cake. An amazing breakfast. Will definitely return.

Positive: Breakfast was excellent, everything you thought you wanted and more.... The location was great for us as we were cycling the Tarka Trail. Caroline and Colin are super hosts and have many years of local knowledge. Cake in the room access to the terrace.

Negative: Nothing - everything was perfect.

Positive: The best thing about this beautifully appointed former rectory was the warm welcome we received from Caroline and Colin who went out of their way to make sure our afternoon and night in Instow was a pleasant one.

Positive: I stayed at Instow Barton for two nights with my mother and we really enjoyed our time there. It is set in a peaceful location above the village of Instow by the church. We received a warm welcome. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Especially good was the breakfast which was varied, generous and delicious. I understood there was a trained chef in the family and you could tell! I would recommend a stay here to anyone.
