Positive: Amazing views! The floor to ceiling windows let you see the beautiful lake at all times in the room. Beds were comfy, heater works well to keep you warm, and hot shower was nice after a long exploring the island from north to south. We also appreciate the hosts being communicative and helpful, despite our broken Spanish. We had breakfast served in our room which was a perfect start to the day, especially accompanied by the gorgeous sunrise views.

Negative: It might be a bit tricky to find the property as the road does not show on google maps.

Summary: Cozy room with beautiful views!

Positive: The lake view from the room was absoulutely stunning. Even if you don't go outside you can still see the lake and the mountain 24/7. You can also see the snow capped mountain during sunset which is more amazing. They provide heater and microwave too. The free breakfast was great but they don't give bottled water.

Negative: The location is situated at the middle part of the island & that makes it far away from the restaurants and yumani port. The nearest restau you can go is about 15 min of hiking. And after 4pm it can be pretty chilly already that you don't wanna go outside anymore. They don't serve dinner or any food or drinks so you better be prepared for the night. Bring extra water, bread or any instand food.

Summary: Overall it was amazing. Very peaceful. Just maybe add complementary water next time or if not sell some water instead.

Positive: Stunning views. Comfortable rooms, lots of space. Lovely family, appreciated help with information about getting to and from the island, as well as help with bags. Good breakfast. Nice hot shower. I really enjoyed spending time here.

Negative: Missing a few conveniences I would expect at this price, like a bath mat, hanging space, a screen on at least one window so it’s possible to get air flow without letting bugs in. Could also have been a bit cleaner. There were multiple hairs in my linen, and my towel was a little stained.

Positive: Amazing stay in la Isla del Sol, the lodge is absolutely perfect, so spacious and cosy, and offers the best views over the lake, the Isla de la Luna and the surrounding mountains. It is also facing the sunrise for an unforgettable morning wake up. The hosts were very kind, and brought us our breakfast to enjoy on the terrace facing the lake. By far one of my best experience via Booking.

Negative: The shower was either very hot or cold so a bit hard to handle, but this is very minor in light of how amazing the place was overall.
