Positive: Spacious and clean room. Surprisingly also a hot shower. Superb view on the Andes mountains from this side of the isla and an excellent sunrise (from your bed, if you are a cold person like me). Run by a lovely family. When I told I struggled with altitude, they plucked medicine plant (not the coca, different plant) from their garden for my tea. I cannot recommend this place enough. Note the following: The family sends you a map with directions. I missed the detour so added some pictures. It’s hard to see the detour while struggling up the Inca stairs but if you end up in the village, you are to far and need to head down. There was a sign with Utasawa when I visited and that’s is where you should turn left to the detour and you’ll find the lodge after waking approx. 5 min in the flat part. Thank me later ;) and enjoy your stay

Negative: No heating at night and it got quite cold, but apparently that’s quite normal here. I recommend bringing a lot of warm layers for the nights

Positive: This Ecolodge requires a bit more effort to get to than some of the ones in “downtown” Yumani, but it’s totally worth it. Each exceptionally clean room is private, with a cozy bed, warm shower and attentive staff.

Negative: Nothing!

Positive: A perfect spot, in a quieter area, for a few days on the island. You get a gorgeous view. Make sure to get up for sunrise. The hosts are amazing and friendly. The beds are huge and super comfy. I could only get warm-ish water, but it was fine for me after hiking all day. The breakfast was delicious! Amazing bread, freshly squeezed juice and eggs. The dinner was also delicious, get the trout, you will not be disappointed. The wifi is really good. Definitely recommend. Would absolutely come back again.

Positive: Very modern and clean room and en suite. Our shower had hot water on demand. The bed was one of the most comfortable we had on our trip, and it kept us perfectly warm at night. The views from everywhere were stunning. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

Negative: Tough to find off the ferry and be prepared for a little uphill hike but it's worth it when you're there!
