Summary: The bothy is full of character, well designed and had more facilities than thought. We had our dog, walked around the beautiful estate. Played in the stunning walled garden. The only thing I think we could have done with is a wee hand held hoover. That’s it. Very much looking forward to another visit.

Summary: After a challenging start (the owner had double booked my first 2 nights stay) the bothy lived up to expectations. A fantastic remote location with red squirrels cavorting outside the door in the evening. Great location to explore wider Aberdeenshire. Did try to communicate with the owner during my stay, with no reply, which was a little disappointing - but would certainly recommend staying at the bothy for any nature lovers.
