Positive: The location of the property is magical. You arrive at the end of a driveway near a lobster facility (don't let this throw you off) and walk to the house over a bridge. House comes with all amenities needed and the view from the deck towards Bar Harbor is amazing. We saw a bald eagle, seals, crabs and lots of birds. Sunsets were magicals...great sleep with all the background noise from the sea and wildlife. Wifi worked for the most part.
Negative: Unfortunately we came across some not working things (ceiling light in kitchen, day 2 the ceiling light in the hallway blew) and that the trash from previous guests was left outside with an incredible bad smell. We contacted the rental management and we constantly told things will be taken care of or local staff will be informed and in touch with us - nothing happened. Nobody showed up to fix the lights although we were - I was told to take the smelly trash from someone else to the dumpster. Yes i got a little refund (but only because we constantly told them about the issues) but honestly the management is poor...don't know if anyone would show up if you lost power. That was the only downside but communication with them was very frustrating.
