This beautiful, spacious, redwood cottage sits on incredible Island Lake about 2 miles out side of the unincorporated community of Orange Springs. Set on a perfect, private lake lot, the property consists of the large main house, a spacious guest house, carport, dock, boat house, and patio. Great lake views, old live oak trees with Spanish moss, and a lake breeze describe this picturesque environment. Completely renovated in 2011, this marvelous retreat has a large kitchen with gas range; dining, living, and family rooms overlooking the lake; new baths; laundry facilities; well-appointed furnishings; and more. The main house sleeps 7. If you rent the optional guest house (2 persons), the property can accommodate a total of 9. The dock is terrific for fishing and the lake is great for swimming. 80 feet of shoreline awaits you. There is a canoe, charcoal grill, picnic table, and fire pit for relaxing outdoors.
As well, I have 2 other lake houses nearby if this one seems too large.

Summary: The lake house is something of a fairytale. Hugh trees with Spanish moss, an adorable home, and a spectacular view right on the lake. It’s located in the country so you can relax and get a piece of mind.

Summary: This is the second time I have rented from this owner. It is set perfectly on a lake and made us feel like we were on a true vacation from everything. The neighbors aren't close, but close enough that you don't feel too isolated. The home was clean and had everything provided that we needed. I hope to be back at some point!
