Positive: Clean, spacious and comfortable. Great location for our family. Close to Hendrick's Head beach and Boothbay. I had stayed here two winters ago, and liked it enough to return this summer.
Negative: We would have appreciated some paper towels and toilet paper. The electronic key pad for the door is very nice, but the door code was too long - if we did not enter the code fast enough we had to start over.
Summary: Comfortable, clean and spacious home for my family. A good location, just outside Boothbay.

Positive: Loved the location, size, and peacefulness. They were very accommodating to needs of a family such as fans in each room, extra pillows and blankets, games, kids movies, and much more.
Negative: Mattresses upstairs were uncomfortable.

Negative: Needs instructions for TV. Hot water regulator broke but one call and a service man was there in a couple of hours to fix it.

Positive: The house was very well laid out with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath upstairs and a master bedroom and 2 baths downstairs. The kitchen was large and well equipped. There was a large deck with a seating area and patio table. Plenty of hand soap and toiletries were provided. The property was convenient to Southport and the Boothbay area and very quiet. There was a gas grill but no propane.
Negative: The listing stated AC but we found out it was not central AC. Although rare, there was a heatwave in Maine the week we stayed. We thought that wouldn't be a problem as the listing stated AC. We assumed (as most people would) that meant central air. After sweating it out the first night especially in the upstairs bedrooms we wondered why the central AC didn't kick on and then discovered there was no central AC, just a portable AC unit in the MB closet. Also the window screens hadn't been installed (we found them in the basement). My husband had to install window screens in the stifling upstairs rooms before we could use the three fans that were provided. Also, there was a TV but four remotes and no instructions as to what each remote was for. Also, the sink sprayer was broken on our arrival. I wasn't sure who to call. It didn't seem easy to contact anyone.
Summary: Overall nice rental with a few shortcomings
