Positive: The staff was friendly and the room was reasonably sized.

Negative: Then room wasn't the cleanest. I stayed one night in the superior room: extremely noisy as the windows aren't well insulated and you can hear every motorbike on the busy street passing by. All of the superior rooms are located on the same side facing the same street, so if you value quietness, I would not book those. I stayed in a queen room after - it's quieter as it doesn't have a window in the room itself (only in the bathroom). But the doors are also not well insulated so you can hear everything from the hallway. If you don't mind having no window: book a queen room and make sure to request a room far away from the elevator.

Negative: - room is rather small for 3 ppl - breakfast is quite poor. We ate at a different place.

Positive: Recently refurbished, rooms are well decorated, albeit a bit on the small side,. The rooms are pretty quiet with virtually no noise from the road outside. Breakfast is basic, but nice, with fresh fruit, local cuisine, toast, tea and coffee. The restaurant is nice for an evening meal or lunch. It is close to the city centre and several local restaurants.

Positive: The staffs I met in Instanaku are very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was very clean and quiet. If I come to Manado in the future, I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again!
