Summary: My only issue was that the power went out on our last night and there was no emergency lighting - flashlight or matches and candles. We had to leave early.

Summary: If you are looking for some quiet place to enjoy by yourself or with a partner, look no further! This hidden gem is tugged away from the busy sailing hub but it’s less than 5 mins away if you need to some basic necessities. I felt very safe on my own staying at this property. The view is amazing and the rooms are spacious. I will visit again for sure. Had a lovely memory here watching the sunrise and sunrise while listening to soothing ocean waves.

Summary: Firstly, I just want to start with how much of a beautiful stay this was. Everything was clean and pristine. Waking up in the morning to that view had to be the most breathtaking thing. It's so picturesque and unreal. The neighborhood was quiet and very homey islandy. I went into town the first night to Bowen Island Pub. They were playing live music, the vibes were great and lively, and the food was delicious. Before that I went grocery shopping at The Ruddy Potato which has more specialized healthy food items (for vegans, vegetarians, and health conscious) and then to the Snug Cove General Store that had everything you need from ketchup to sausages and breakfast potatoes.Just a quick tip for those staying here, you do have to cross the ferry and if you're most likely crossing with your car the ferry was 40 USD. That caught me by surprise but luckily I was only staying the weekend and the price includes roundtrip from the mainland to Bowen Island and back. The house is also down somewhat of a steep driveway hill and they suggest not parking close to the house to avoid getting blocked in. So you will have to park on the street. Anyhow, none of what I listed are problems or concerns but just being in the know. What matters is the stay was clean, comfy, quiet, and breathtaking. I would absolutely stay here again for a weekend getaway.

Summary: Ocean view from the window was stunning. Place was spacious and clean. Close enough to the bus stop and a beach if you want to explore Bowen, but also great for a staycation. (there is a smart TV, cards, boardgames, and a good WiFi connection).
