Jacks Shack is Talbingo's most exclusive holiday listing. Two years have been spent re-designing and re-building the house.
Time, love and a lot of money have been put into the renovations and this is no longer your average snowy house. Extensions have doubled the size of the original house and we have adopted an open plan style for the main living areas.
Innovative design, spacious rooms, attention to detail and top class fittings & fixtures all combine to make Jack's Shack one of the nicest homes in Talbingo.
JACK'S SHACK FEATURES:
Jacks Shack is situated in a prime location. The property has great views of the mountains and is only a few minutes walk from any of Talbingo's amenities including, children's playground, park, sporting oval, Country Club, golf course, tennis courts, Talbingo Lodge Restaurant, supermarket and service station.
A massive covered deck measuring 13 metres x 3.5 metres with extra high balustrade and child safety gate. A gas BBQ and outdoor setting have been provided.
A large lounge room with ample seating and a number of entertainment options including stereo with CD player, 50" plasma television, pay TV, and DVD/video player. A reverse cycle air conditioner operates from this room.
A separate formal dining area.
The custom made kitchen is fully stocked with all cutlery, crockery and cooking needs. White goods include a new ceramic stove top with new oven, new fridge / freezer and new dishwasher.
The laundry area includes a large new washing machine and new dryer, and a second fridge.
The spacious bathroom features double vanity unit, bath tub, extra large shower cubicle, and toilet. There is also a separate toilet for when the bathroom is busy.
All three bedrooms are well appointed, each with their own reverse cycle air conditioner, and a walk-in wardrobe is attached to the main bedroom. Electric blankets and bedding (excluding sheets) have been provided for your convenience. The bedding configurations are as follows:
Bedroom 1 = 1 x Double bed 3 x single bed
Bedroom 2 = 1 x Queen bed 2 x single bed
Bedroom 3 = 1 x Double bed
The property is fenced and features extensive pathways, lawn areas, beautiful gardens and the concrete driveway makes access easy. There is also a separate entertaining area at the rear of the property complete with a new roof.
We can accommodate a maximum of 11 people

Summary: This property is on point. Exactly as described, and so big! We are a family of 5 but comfortably could have fitted another family, plus a couple. Lots of space to eat, chill and move about. Even a high chair, internet, super comfy large couch, and heating in all bedrooms. We will be back!

Summary: What a great house. Fresh and newly renovated. Great kitchen which was extremely well equipped. Very spacious with a great covered deck for afternoon drinks. Good sized bedrooms. Summary: We had two couples and three kids sharing the house and it was perfect for our needs - spacious, clean and comfortable. There was also enough space to be able to entertain other families without being cramped. Would happily stay at Jack’s Shack again.

Summary: We love this house and always try to get it when we visit Talbingo to ski. Wifi good, house clean and lots of fridge space which is important as need to take everything we need as no local supermarket.

Summary: Jacks Shak was so well set up. Easy to find everything. Great space for two families of four and room for more. Loved the outdoor setting for meals with the big long tables and comfy chairs. BBQ was easy to use. Toilet paper, hand towels and hand soap were supplied. Lots of thoughtful touches that made it easier to relax and enjoy. Nespresso coffee machine was appreciated. Half hour drive to the yarrangobilly caves and thermal pool for a wonderful day out. Neat and clean throughout. We had a family of peacocks visited one morning, king parrots across the road. Lots of kangaroos were seen in our walks around the village. Was a delightful weekend for all. Thanks so much
