Summary: Superb the accommodations were lovely the view exceptional. The breakfast was amazing the owners and family have excellent customer service skills wonderful hospitality I very much look forward to staying again next year with my family. I have been traveling the world for a year and this hotel and the way I was taken care of stand out the most of any property I have stayed at. Thank you for the lovely experience of sharing your property

Summary: Traveling solo. Stayed for two nights. Good price and breakfast included. Very polite and friendly staff. Owner, Dan, is very friendly and helpful. It’s on a “steep” hill and about 3.5 kilometers to Lake Kandy—-a good distance for walking exercise. This is probably my most favorite and the best budget hotel I had stayed in. Strongly recommend it.

Summary: We arrived later in the evening but the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful, serving a delicious dinner. The hotel has wonderful views across the hills surrounding Kandy. A great secret hideaway.

Summary: Jack tree lodge is a nice place to stay, the owner is very nice and the staff too, we felt home. They offered breakfast every morning. The location is a 15 minutes walk from the city which was better for us. The rooms have a nice view. The only disadvantage in Kandy is that almost everything closes around 10 pm so nothing much to do or places to eat.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a little out of Kandy main centre which is a good thing as it is away from much of the pollution. The room was in fair condition and very clean. We had a nice balcony with views over Kandy. The bathroom was clean and toiletries were provided. We had no fridge but the owner kindly allowed us to put some drinks in his fridge. The owner was a very kind and courteous man and he served a delicious breakfast both mornings, the Sri Lankan breakfast was especially good. Only a 15 minute walk into the centre of Kandy, a good supermarket at the bottom of the road that sold cold drinks, beer etc and a good selection of groceries. I would recommend and I would stay there again if visiting Kandy.
