If you’re looking for a private and peaceful getaway, nestled among the rolling hills, an escape from the city, Welcome to Johanna Meadows where guests can relax and enjoy the country life.
Overlooking the rolling hills and meadows of Johanna and the natural forest on the property is this 2 bedroom cottage. A modern well appointed home that sleeps up to 4.
Bedroom 1 has a Queen size Bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 long singles.
You can hear the sounds of the ocean just a short 3.5km away at Johanna Beach. Stroll along the sandy shores and watch the stunning sunset over the water. If fishing is your thing you might just like to drop in a line and catch a fish or 2. For those who like a slower pace you can laze away on the day bed as the morning sun fills the whole house with its golden rays.Relax in the living area whilst watching TV/DVD or simply take in the peaceful outlook of the meadows and rolling hills. This 12 acre property has its own forest filled with fern gullies. Take a short stroll along the tracks through the majestic tall timbers. At the end of the day relax and enjoy a BBQ with a glass of your favourite drink. Or just cuddle up next to the warmth of the wood fire in cooler months.
The property is situated just 1 klm off the famous Great Ocean Road. It is ideally located, giving you easy access to many Otway attractions, The Otway Fly, Maits Rest,Melba Gully, Otway Light House, Castle Cove, Triplet falls, just to name a few. The Great Ocean Walk meanders along Johanna Beach, the 12 Apostles are a short 45min drive away and the coastal town of Apollo Bay is a 30min drive.
Bush or beach, relax or explore its up to you. Do as much or as little as you like.

Summary: We had a wonderful time staying at this gorgeous cottage that immediately felt like home. Summary: Arrived at the beautiful property to be greeted by a lovely decorated and very well equipped home with goodies from the garden as well as everything you could need for a couple of days away. Anna was very easy to communicate with and made us very welcome. I can only recommend this place, all you need to do is rock up, everything else is there.

A lot of thought and detail has clearly gone into everything to allow guests to feel like every base of comfort has been covered. Summary: This property is so much more than 10/10. From the second you see the cottage - forget everything you have ever known about a VRBO. The design is lovely, the grounds are huge and beautiful, we even saw a kangaroo. The walk down through the eucalyptus and tree ferns is lovely. You can even pick your own strawberries and herbs in the garden. All of the stylish touches in the cottage are too many to mention but the bed is really comfortable, the instructions are clear, thorough and outstanding and everything you could possibly need is there. There is a washer, a microwave, oven, tea, coffee, drying racks, beach towels, string, cling, even fresh bread, milk and honey. We cannot thank you enough, Anna and Branko - and hope we can retune
