Positive: Entertainment was AWFUL. If you wanted a restful evening you were nonetheless forced to endure mediocire but VERY LOUD outdoor entertainment that could be heard in every room, often going to as late as 11:00 p.m. It was IMPOSSIBLE to get to sleep and earlier. The management seems unable to navigate between a restful holiday and loud, lousy night time "entertainment." We loved the beach and the staff was great, but we might nor return because of this ridiculous "entertainment" policy and we cannot recommend this resort.
Negative: THE ENTERTAINMENT POLICY IS A JOKE, WHICH FORCED US TO BE UP TO 11:00 P,M ERY NIGHT LISTENING TO QUIT LOW-END AND OVERLY LOUD PERFORMERS. WE WANTED TO REST AFTER A DAY ON THE BEACH, BUT WERE FORCED TO LISTEN TO LOUD "MUSIC"EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. NOT AGAIN. WE CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT.

Positive: Beautiful location with expensive views of the Caribbean. Tasteful landscaping, not overdone. Nice and quiet at night during the week we stayed.
Negative: Noise levels OK, sometimes a bit loud from a sound system near the beach, but only from late morning till about 4 PM. Gourmet speaker near the beach, The pool is not meant for swimming. It is quite large with gentle curves, but the water level is quite shallow in many of the areas and not really amenable to lap swimmers. The quality of the seawater is excellent, although the sea is a bit rougher than I remember during a prior trip to Antigua for five years ago. I think this is a worldwide trend, however. As per most of the Caribbean, you are on your own when it comes to safety.

Positive: I loved the beach, the swimming pool and gardens. The food and staff were excellent. Food was excellent for all meals. Staff were very welcoming, helpful and pleasant.
Negative: The facilities however needed much repair in some areas. Some rooms lacked a number of basic facilities and especially as an all-inclusive hotel. eg. iron, ironing board, coffee maker, kettle, water glasses, working AC etc.
