Summary: The Kelp Bed was the perfect place for a getaway over the new year. The house is stunning, with everything we needed for a cosy, quiet few days of relaxation. Booking and check in were simple. The location is fantastic. Amazing views and a fun walk down to the beach.

Summary: we had a relaxing short stay the and the home was more than expected. Very comfortable with amazing ocean views the stairs down to the beach were very slippery so some caution is needed. would definitely stay again thanks so much.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at the Kelpbed Beach House. The stunning ocean views and access to the shoreline via the boardwalk were unforgettable highlights. Relaxing in the upstairs soaker tub while gazing out at the ocean was such a treat. We also appreciated the fenced yard, which was perfect for bringing along our furry family member. We would love to come back one day.

Summary: Such a great stay! House is exactly as listed. Perfect location. The only problem i had was not enough time to explore it all. I would love to book again for the new year sometime to check more stuff out. The house was comfortable and perfect amount of space for us all.

Summary: We had a great time here. Beautiful floor to ceiling window views. The hike down the stairs to the water was an adventure every time, going back up wasn’t quite as fun. The cabin was cozy at night. Would stay here again!

Summary: The property is lovely. However, the weather turned cold and we discovered the heat wasn't working. We tried communicating with the host, who was already aware there was an issue with the AC/heat. This was never disclosed with the booking. There was no solution offered and they stopped communicating after 2 messages. The property is for sale, so I don't think they want to put any effort into maintaining things.

Summary: We stayed at the property and hiked at China Beach, Mystic Beach and Sombreo beach. The home is exceptionally nice! I wish we would have brought more food to cook, because the kitchen is very well equipped and there aren’t many places to eat out. You must buy food in Cictoria or Sooke.

Summary: The house is very nice. The view was wonderful. The shower although nice looking, wasn’t very user friendly. The landscaping and yard was unkept and drew away from the beauty of the place. The property was for sale.
