Negative: Terrible bed with a soft, saggy mattress. Also, dangerous rotten step on the outside entrance to our building.

Negative: It wasn’t as clean as I had expected. Carpet worn and dirty. Bedspread had stains that hadn’t come out.

Positive: Good location for our needs. Very nice that a restaurant is right on property. Also, breakfast is included in the morning. Overall a very positive experience

Negative: A caution for elderly guests or guests with some physical limitations. These buildings are old, over 200 years old in a few cases, stairs are steep and stair treads are narrow. They do have ADA accessible rooms available so make sure you ask for one in advance if you think you will need it. We didn't and I ended up needing some assistance on the stairs to our room. By the way, assistance was graciously given and in no way was this a negative impact on our stay. I am elderly and should have known better than to not make a request for accessible accommodations.

Summary: Very pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

Positive: The room was perfect and the ambiance of a country inn was exactly what we wanted. Dinner in the pub was excellent and the staff were extremely nice.

Negative: The driveway should be repaved—look out for potholes. Also, the mini muffins at breakfast should come off the menu. They were not edible.

Summary: Lovely place with excellent staff and fabulous food!
