Summary: We had a fantastic weekend in Galax. This is our 3rd stay at Shepherd's Rest and, as usual, the home was clean and inviting. The weather was beautiful though we were probably a week early for leaf peeping. Kathy is an excellent communicator. We look forward to staying here again.

Summary: Nice place to enjoy the many offerings of the region. Perfect size for 2 - husband + wife. Pet friendly. We enjoyed biking the New River Trail, the Blue Ridge Parkway and music at the Blue Ridge Music Center.
