Summary: This was our second stay here. The main road from Port Antonio to the turn off is still under construction and the driveway up to the cottages is needing repair. Other than that this place is great value. Includes a well-equipped kitchen for preparing your own meals. We enjoy using the pool and the gym facility with the amazing views. And relaxing in the hammock on the porch surrounded by birds and lush greenery. Local music in the valley can be disturbing at times but not much control over that.

Summary: Another great stay at Aqualife Cottages. I had been there a year ago and so enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful scenery that I brought my mom with me on this trip for a girls' retreat. Relaxing and rejuvenating.

Summary: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Aqualife cottages. If you are looking for a peaceful location to restore and refresh then this is an ideal spot. Also, as a single female traveller this property was safe and secure. Olga and David are great to communicate with and helped me with transportation, and have great suggestions for things to do in Portland on their website. The property staff - Hida and Teddy were very helpful, courteous and made my stay extra special. I only wish I could have stayed longer but plan to be back with a friend or two.

Summary: The most amazing views. Clean comfy private cottage with king sized bed. Great water pressure , hot water, strong Wi-Fi. Great bird watching. Hard to tear away from the deck !! Great gym great pool great shared kitchen all brand new. Olga David Ted Hiya and Shawn all took great care of us but gave us privacy. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Portland. Check out the AquaLife website for activities and restaurants. And find your own little places to visit too. Could go on but I’m back at work now wishing we were still at AquaLife! Go and enjoy!

Summary: Let me start by saying David Lee is an amazing VRBO host. He was so friendly and helped us map out our stay in Port Antonio. The initial drive up the hill can be a bit scary the first time if you’re driving yourself but the view is worth it. The room is nice a tidy with all the amenities needed to make your stay comfortable and convenient. Nothing beats waking up to the mountains and hummingbirds feeding off the balcony. Would recommend for anyone.
