Positive: The location was alright, close to all the markets and the pier. However if you are looking for a closer location to the beach than this may not be suitable for you, but was only a 40 min walk to the beach. The staff were very accommodating to our needs speaking enough English to have understood each other. Even helping us getting our bus back to Krabi as we misunderstood the email from the bus company and almost missed it. The lady called the transfer companies ensuring we were able to get the bus. Overall for 3 nights it was ideal for backpackers looking for a place to rest. Bathroom was small but not a major issue and the hot water worked well for the showers.

Negative: Nothing major, only suggestion would be to either state it is located next to the tour and motorbike rental shop, or put a sign visible from the road. We were able to locate it easy from maps but the sign is small above a single door, we almost walked right past it.

Summary: Perfect for a short stay, Great Location

Positive: Great location, the sheets had an amazing smell, the bed was really comfy! Highly recommended for the money and the location but a bit far from the beach

Negative: We read in the reviews that was very noisy but we did not hear anything and we are very sensible with noises.

Positive: The location was really good. Literally a one minute walk from the pier. The food street is also only five minutes away as well as the beach. But there are some really nice food places next to the hostel as well. The people who work there are really kind and helpful. There is a fridge and a water fill up station that you can use all the time. The beds were really comfy and there’s a lot of space for everyone. You have enough privacy provided by the curtains. The toilets and showers were good. (P.s. what @Mnd wrote on the 5th isn’t quite correct… she had a personal problem with me and my friends, because we were still chatting in the early evening. Other guests agreed with us that she must have had a bad day (or bad days)!! And it’s just unfair that the staff/hostel gets a bad review because of that…)

Summary: All in all I would recommend this hostel if you stay in Koh Lanta. The location is good (really close to the pier) and
