Positive: This was my second visit to the house and I enjoyed the stay as much as the first time last year. The grounds around the house are so lush and beautiful wirh spring flowers and the front patio so welcoming with many comfy seats. Our room was ready early, the common areas and the room are well maintained and clean. The patio outside the dining area is sorrounded by trees and frequently visited by hummingbirds. We had our afternoon tea there, did some reading and knitting. Jill and Charles are graceful hosts that make their guests feel welcomed and appreciated. They express their passion for cooking and entertaining by serving a delicious breakfast.

Positive: A thoughtfully appointed, character Craftsman home with 5 guest rooms/suites, in a quiet, woodsy spot on Orcas Island. The owners are friendly and helpful. I want to stay for a rainy week sometime, just to go through the entire library in the cozy corner reading room.

Positive: Kangaroo House is a gem of a Craftsman Bungalow, with lovely decor and a spectacular front porch, all surrounded by a nice garden. The breakfasts were gourmet, creative, delicious, and beautifully presented - high-end restaurant quality all the way. Location is convenient to the charming town of Eastbound, and Moran Park - a natural paradise. And it is an easy, pleasant drive to the Ferry Terminal. The best aspect of our stay was the hosts - Jill and Charles are special people....warm, kind, bright, and great conversationalists. This was our best B&B experience ever

Positive: The house is lovely and historic. The grounds are lovely. And Jill and Charles went all out. They served breakfasts created with much attention to detail. Delicious food, lovely dishes, cloth napkins, lovely breakfast room and other guests to socialize with.

Negative: It would have been helpful to have a small welcome folder in the room that gives info on breakfast times, the fridge available for guests, internet password, etc. since the hosts were not there when we arrived.
