Positive: Great location to La Selva (<5mins) located in a small village. Pablo welcomed us on arrival and gave some great tips of local places to eat / visit. Secure parking and good facilities. Great value!

Positive: Honestly it was a complete apartment with everything!. It had a kitchen with oil and salt which is essential for cooking your own meals. It had a laundry room which I didn't use but it was nice to have that option. The normal size fridge and the AC was a blessing with all the heat in CR. The bathroom was excellent. There was even an office desk and a dinner table, it was perfect!. And besides all of that 4 beds and I could park the car next door. It was very comfortable to stay here, very much recommend! The area around was beautiful and so peaceful.
Negative: There were 4 beds: 3 individual and 1 double size. The individual beds were comfortable but I don't know why the double size mattress was kinda hard.
Summary: Great place with everything!!!

Positive: The place is as described, clean, new and exceptionally well equipped. Our host Pablo was very friendly and helpful, and gave us suggestions for dining as well as the best produce vendor in the area. The location is ideal - in a small quiet village [La Flaminia; not Tigre, by the way] just outside Puerto Viejo and off the main Route 4, very close to the amazing La Selva Research Station (don't miss one of their tours for incredible wildlife!), but in a quiet and secure spot - no barking dogs, roosters or traffic noise! Fabulous kitchen, great hot showers, quiet A/C: it's not in the rainforest itself, but it's a great place to relax after a day in the rainforest.
Summary: A great find in a quiet spot, with all the comforts.

Positive: The nicest host I have experienced in my travels. He went above and beyond to help me before, during and even after my stay by making sure I reached my next destination okay and offered to help me arrange further transport! The accommodation is immaculate with good a/c and a well equipped kitchen. It is in a quiet neighbourhood with secure gates.
Negative: The only downside is the lack of restaurants or local transport nearby, however if you bring your own food and/or transport this place is absolutely perfect. Even without transport the host helped me arrange a lovely and reasonably priced local taxi driver and even offered me a few rides himself.

Positive: Clean, smells good, AC, nice little kitchen, private parking and gated access. Nice people !!! Perfect spot to visit sarapiqui from and more. We stayed only one night as we were transitioning but theres a nice nightwalk (Sarapiqui Xperience) in La Virgen. Cash only:). The bed are comfy of course. The overall look is very satisfying too!
Negative: Nothing really, just maybe more info on how to use perfectly the laundry machines as maybe you need to repeat instructions every 15-20 minutes.
