Positive: Welcoming hosts, very comfortable accommodation, very quiet but easy to get to places of interest. We were expecting a rural setting but it was suburban and we had no problems parking, Laundry facilities were a big bonus as we needed to refresh our wardrobes after nearly 4 weeks on the road. We had the apartment, which is like a separate wing of the house, very spacious and comfortable, a real home from home.

Positive: The suite was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast supplies such as milk, eggs, bread, butter, strawberries, and orange juice were generously provided and could be prepared by ourselves. On request, Lesley also prepared breakfast for us on her beautiful balcony with a lovely view – a real highlight. Although it was a bit too cold in the evening to sit on the suite’s terrace, everything else was excellent. Parking was available, and for guests who find the narrow parking space challenging, Lesley even offers a valet service and parks the car herself, which is such a thoughtful touch. Rotorua is a fantastic destination, and Karanda BnB is an ideal starting point for activities in and around the area. We would happily stay here again.

Negative: Nothing, it was and awesome space and beautiful. Very comfortable inside and out.
