Luxury Villa Karteros is a luxurious residence of 3.000 square meters, located 300 m. from the sea, only 3 km away from Heraklion Airport and 7 km away from the city of Heraklion.
It is consisted of two floors (350 square meters living space) built in a unique style with each room offering a combination of traditional and modern decoration with handpicked original art.
Built on top of a private hill, our luxury villa offers a wonderful panoramic view of the Aegean sea and the mountains of the South and West. You can enjoy the beautiful view of the beach, the large garden, the swimming pool and the delightful surrounds, from the 2 large terraces within the first floor and 2 smaller balconies on the second floor.
The fully equipped house lies on the second and third floor, connected with a set of wooden stairs. Most of the floor is wooden and includes high quality classic furniture.
On the second floor there are 2 large living rooms with a fireplace, a dinning room, a fully equipped kitchen with all the modern amenities, a study room with one single bed, and a WC.
The third floor has 3 bedrooms, two of which offer balconies with great view. There are two bathrooms with bathtubs on this floor, one of them part of a separate apartment (with the master bedroom), also offering a hot tub (Jacuzzi).
The whole house has central heating. The two bedrooms, the hall of the third floor and the living room are air - conditioned. Fully equipped TV sets are included in the living room and the master bedroom. There is an internet connection and an alarm system for your own safety.
Our villa offers a private swimming pool, a private gym for high-level exercise and BBQ on the 2 big gardens. Private gym includes a treadmill and multifunction fitness machines.
There is also a private parking area for your cars.

Summary: Lovely property, very well equipped; we had a great time and left very relaxed. The host looked after us very well - we had all we needed in the fridge on arrival and she made us a meal on the evening of our arrival and kept us surprised with home cooked goodies throughout our stay.

Summary: We were incredibly happy with the house, it was clean and the owners had made homecooked food, which was a very pleasant surprise after leaving the airport and arriving at the house. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, and regularly checked on us as well as delivering food to the house for us. It was a short drive from the airport and easy to navigate to. Overall, the house and its owners definitely made our trip to Crete special.

Summary: Echo all of the previous praise for this property. Esther and Nikos go out of their way to make sure you have the best holiday experience, a huge thank you to them. The property itself is outstanding, from the pool, pool table and table tennis to the immaculate and comfortable bedrooms. The 'extras' provided on arrival and throughout the stay were amazing. Can not recommended highly enough.

Summary: Esther and Nikos have been super helpful. They were super welcoming, willing to accommodate our requests, and provided helpful guidance on the neighborhood. The house is charming, very clean and we appreciated the air conditioning. We even had the luxury of tasting Esther's delicious cooking. Well done to them! Summary: We have just completed the most relaxing holiday ever. Ester was in touch with us before our arrival and made everything so smooth. We we're greeted by Ester and her son Nikos on arrival and we're greeted by lots of Goodies. Homemade meal, wine and fully stocked fridge and pantry. Which was much appreciated Easy location for activities ( we hired a car) but also on a bus route. The view's are amazing . We wanted for nothing with extra treats dropped off all week . There is a Lidl close by for any extra shopping needed. The pool was a Very welcome addition in the intense heat of the day, as was the Aircon. A stunning villa with the most amazing Hosts. Highly recommended. You Will not find more attentive hosts than Ester and Nikos. 5***

Summary: We just came back in Canada, after a 2 week stay at Villa Karteros. This villa is a WONDERFUL place to stay for families. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and clean, and there is plenty of room to accomodate even a very big family. The pictures do not give justice to this home at all. It has high end furniture and household appliances. Moreover, the kitchen is very very well equiped. Outside the house, everything has been thought of to provide a relaxing and comfortable environment for the guests. There are many covered areas that provide shade when needed (with sofas, a dining table, ping pong table, pool table, etc.) The pool is quite big and very well maintained. In addition to the above-mentioned comments about the Villa, I have to underline the great hospitality and remarkable generosity of the hosts. They did everything possible to make our holidays in Kriti unforgettable. They cooked cretan traditional meals and desserts for us and we were even lucky enough to taste the wine they are making. Honestly, they made us feel at home and were always available whenever we needed an advice or help during our stay. Summary: Our visit at this wonderful villa couldn’t have been better. It’s a super comfortable place with literally everything that you need. Besides the owners are super kind and welcoming. We even received some delicious home cooked meals by them! What we were most happy about was, that the place was super clean and tidy when we arrived. There is also direct bus connection to Heraklion center as well as a 10min walk to the beach. 10/10 would recommend to stay in Luxury Villa Karteros if you’re seeking an enjoyable place to relax.
