Positive: The Homestead is beautiful, open and airy, we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return. This was our second stay and honestly we have no issues to comment. Laura is lovely and friendly and we even asked for a strip to be mowed down to the private jetty and the next morning it was mowed! Made it so much better to access the jetty and lake. If you like country and lake this is the location for you. Our Cattle dog loves Katandra and I’m already checking dates for our next stay.
Summary: We absolutely love Katandra and looking forward to our next stay!

Negative: Mosquitoes were out of control. Do you have smoke detectors? Didn’t notice one in the kitchen/lounge area. No evacuation or exit signs. BBQ was not clean fyi

Positive: We loved our stay at Katandra Homestead. It was country and lake combined which was just beautiful. It was peaceful, private and you could explore the countryside or fish off the jetty which didn’t disappoint as some good sized bream, whiting and blue swimmer crabs were enjoyed for dinner. If your looking for a step back from the hustle and bustle of town for a more peaceful private getaway then this is the place to stay. Forster is only a short drive which is good. Dog friendly property was the key attraction for us and our doggy had an absolute blast exploring the acreage. A beautifully presented clean homestead.

Positive: Kids loved the slide, table tennis and darts. The dogs loved swimming in the lake. The views are beautiful and such a relaxing balcony to enjoy them from. Communication with Laura the host was excellent.
Negative: There were a couple of small issues but Laura was straight on to them as soon as she was notified.
Summary: Thank you for a relaxing family holiday. Definitely recommend this property for families and pet families.
