Summary: Had a really nice time. House is super fun with lots of games. Very spacious. Boats were fun too.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay very much. It was in early September, so less people around. Surrounded by trees and water, it was a perfectly peaceful few days. Deb was very attentive and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend it.

Summary: We had a lovely quiet time at Deb's cottage. The place was comfortable and clean, all the amenities you could ask for, fantastic river views in a shady, quiet nook off the Trent river. Deb was a conscientious and generous host who responded to everything quickly and always offered us more than what we asked for. The place is close enough to resupply anything you could need in a few minutes, but far enough off the main road that we never felt like we weren't getting away from it all. Beds were all comfy, the water was hot, and everything worked as described. We'd come back to Deb's place without hesitation.

Summary: The owners were very accommodating but the cottage needs updating. The bathrooms and two bedrooms had nowhere to hang towels or bathrobes. The only comfortable bed was in the master bedroom and the way furniture is arranged made it impossible for more than two people to watch tv in comfort. Everything stuck to the grill on the BBQ. Definitely did not want to walk on the deck without shoes. Fishing was not good as the cottage is located at the end of a tributary of the canal and was only about two feet deep as well as extremely weedy anywhere you could cast.

Summary: This is our family's second time here. Please see previous review for more details. We chose the location for proximity to family/friend event and it suited our needs perfectly. Good size for 5 adults and 1 youth. Lovely view of the river and no cottages directly across so it feels more private. There is a canoe so you can go out on the river. Orillia is close by for convenience and last-minute grocery purchases. Will be returning!

Summary: The cottage is located on the water though you can’t swim near the cottage. But there are watercrafts and canoeing was a highlight of our stay! The swimming area was not far at all and walking there was a pleasant trip. The grounds of the cottage are well maintained and clean. There is not much privacy- there are neighbors close by on each side though they didn’t bother us. The cottage itself has lots of room - spacious living/dining room combo that can accommodate two families for dinner or after dinner entertainment easily. The master is a big room the other two bedrooms fairly small. The hosts are amazing and they sent us a lot of info about the activities in the neighbourhood. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and were very happy with the quality for a price we paid.
