Positive: Loved the architecture of this place. High ceilings with ornate trim and some cool, antique-looking furniture. Great room was comfortable and spacious. Emmanuel met us at property and showed us around. Air conditioning in every room. Beds were good. We were able to access Netflix on the TV.
Negative: Pictures in the listing did not accurately show the property. One of the bathrooms shown is not the bathroom at the property. Another bathroom had no toilet seat and could not be used. Property was not clean. Dirty light switches. Kitchen counters were dirty, the refrigerator was dirty and the oven was disgusting. Only soap is in a dispenser in the kitchen; no soap in bathrooms. Walls in bathroom were streaked and stained. Obvious dust and dirt under one bathroom vanity. There were very few kitchen towels or cloths to do dishes. There were a couple of sponges which were dirty and well-used. No paper towels. No hand towels or washcloths in bathroom. No curtains in bathroom windows that looked directly onto a public walkway. Small holes in bed sheets Kitchen was not as described in listing. There were no small appliances other than an electric kettle, microwave and blender. Only cooking utensils were a few wooden spoons.

Positive: The place was clean and the house is spacious. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all available amenities. The location is central you can get access to the many restaurants on haile Selassie easily. Need to get into the central part of Dar. It's accessible. From the house you get a view of the sea and the bridge.
