Negative: The area around is a building site The access road is terrible. 4 wheel drive is essential Water ran out half way through shower There is very little to do in the surrounding area

Positive: The property offers great view of the lake with great food from its restaurant. At dinner time, we could even put our drinks to their fridge. The hotel/restaurant staff played with our small child while we were having our dinner. The owner Didos was such a nice and friendly guy he even played the table tennis with us for a little while. The shower water pressure and the temperature was perfect. They offer a boat trip to the nearby island and we could even walk through it seeing different atmosphere than the one we usually experience in Kigali.
Negative: The toilet and the shower place were not separated but we were given 2 rooms through what we thought to be great hospitality of the hotel’s management so there was no problem at all.
Summary: Good food, great hospitality, amazing vibes.

Positive: Rooms, shower, breakfast and service were all great 👍🏻. The manager did his absolute best to make the stay as good as possible. He even returned some items that I forgot after checking out. It is a safe place to go.
Negative: The road to the hotel. Construction noises.

Positive: Beautiful location and view of lake Kivu. Small beach for swimming. Good food and tea, cold beer. Comfortable beds, cute decor, private covered patio, pretty landscape.
Negative: The road to get there is dangerous and almost impassable at some points. Don’t drive it in the rain or dark or without 4 wheel drive and high clearance. There is construction now to improve the roads but probably won’t be complete for another year or two. Better to arrive by boat, which can be arranged. There is some construction and development of this and other properties happening in the area. Watch out for nails in your tires. There was sewer odor in one of our bathrooms.
Summary: Beautiful rooms and remote location to enjoy lake Kivu, but the road to get there is in bad condition. Try to get there

Positive: Great location and staff. The view of Lake Kivu was great. The owner provided us a night stay at her residence and provided us with Diner and breakfast which was the greatest experience. The Hotel owner/hotel manager arranged a taxi for us the following day to take us to the hotel accommodate. Very Very friendly team and I will stay in the hotel again.
Negative: There lucked a printed breakfast menu so it was difficult to select the choice of breakfast however the staff were amazing in explaining what was available for the breakfast.
Summary: Overall, A very great stay at the hotel. Made future friends!
