Summary: This is a gorgeous historical inn with clean rooms in a historical setting. The staff who maintains the space are kind. Downtown Woodstock (about a ten minute drive away) is charming and wonderful to visit. However, this is really not an inn. There’s virtually no common space, little amenities and nearly zero communication with anyone who manages the space. We were there during a weather event and there was no one there to help us navigate the situation. In fact, my boyfriend had to shovel and salt the entryways to ensure the safety of us and other guests. Considering there was no food in the premises, no cellular connection, spotty internet, and unsafe roads with nothing in walking distance, I was pretty disappointed by the lack of care or service provided. It felt like we rented a room in an Airbnb which is fine but not what we expected from an inn. It’s such a beautiful space but I wouldn’t be comfortable staying there again.

Summary: Comfortable, beautiful & safe! The inn is right next to a country store that offers excellent breakfast & lunch. Staff (Rajana) went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable. Highly recommended!

Summary: Property has nice charm. We were there coincidentally when the local kids were trick or treating and it was nice to see the place decked out and the staff dressed up as kids came in to get candy and parents getting a bite from the restaurant. Biggest complaint was the bed, it needs to be replaced immediately as it sinks in and we unfortunately had very bad nights of no sleep due to this.

Summary: For the price of the room ($600) a night, a Small, square room, NO coffee machine in the room, and NO room service by default. NO ice machine in the building. needed to walk to the other building. Very nice bathroom. Only 4 hangers, and no bag to collect laundry (standard in every hotel).
