Positive: This is a beautiful hotel. Modern design. Probably best shower we have had in our many travels. great breakfast buffet. Comfortable beds

Negative: The service at both the Fang Mo bar and the local palate was unacceptable. At the bar, we were served nuts still in the shell and no nutcracker with our drink and the cocktail was served in a shallow glass with a big 3x3 cm ice block in the middle which made it almost impossible to drink the small amount. When we wanted to eat dinner at the ‘local palate’ restaurant, it took us a long time to find anyone who would serve us, and a long time to be finally served. We ordered tap beer which was so stale that we could not drink it and when we then ordered a bottle of tsingtao beer, it never came and we could not find the servant again.

Positive: The hotel is really beautiful. It is new, very clean, has very nice rooms and an amazing breakfast buffet. The location is also very convenient to explore the city.

Negative: Unfortunately the pool and the Restaurant Frieda were closed the whole time, I wish that the hotel would have informed us upfront about that.
