Positive: Nice hosts. Spacious room. Incredible view from the balcony. 10 mins walking to the reserve shuttle bus.

Negative: No toiletries provided, just 2 bars of soap. No kettle provided. But you forget it all when you see an Indian bizon casually roaming in front of you together with a family of wild boars.

Positive: How anyone could give this host a bad review I don't know, he was so incredibly helpful, kind and efficient. He helped me book trips to Periyar, organised washing for me and was always on hand for assistance. The location is perfect for exploring the tiger reserve, close to the entrance, but also only a short walk from the town whcih has restaurants, shops and even a basic gym or two, which i also used. Great views from the balcony - would recommend a balcony room

Negative: Coffee and tea in the room with a kettle might be nice but that is the only thing and the host brought me coffee one morning when I asked too which was lovely

Positive: The stay was very comfortable. The view was great and the location is perfect as the national park is easily accessible along with easy access to the town and restaurants. The host was very polite and accommodating with useful tips and advise. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Positive: We have stayed in 12 accomadations since November here in Kerala,Goa and Sri Lanka. Many others in previous years. Kerala House is by far our favourite. The husband and wife that run it go way above what would be expected of hosts. The terrace room we had was magical for sitting back and letting the wildlife come to you. We're in Munnar now and looking to head back to Kerala house very soon.

Negative: There was nothing to dislike.
