Please read the listing through thoroughly before booking, to ensure we are providing the right accomodation for your needs.
A small and cosy garden cabin ,suitable for one person or a couple as an event stopover glamping style for 1 or 2 days.
Cabin has cassette toilet and self contained handwashing vanity. There is NO SHOWER in the cabin. Shared shower and bathroom in main house available to guests evenings only between 5pm and 8pm.
Cabin is situated in back garden of main house which is our home, 10 metres away. In quiet street and good area . Offstreet parking for cars only, no trucks or motorhomes.
Kereru Kabin decor has a touch of Wild Bird Heritage.
The cabin has a small fridge, microwave, electric jug, toaster, and crockery and cutlery. Bed linen and towels. Liquid handwash and toilet paper. Small table and 2 stools, also outdoor table and chairs out on the verandah.. Provisions for Continental Breakfast - cereals, fruit, bread for toast ad assortment of spreads. NO COOKING of hot meals in the cabin with guests bringing and using own electrical appliances, crock-pot, fry pan etc . Cabin has UV/ privacy refective film on the windows. Property is situated between TARADALE AND NAPIER CITY and on a public bus route. 4 minutes drive to MISSION and CHURCH ROAD WINERIES, 5 minutes drive to local supermarkets and shopping areas. Taradale Club walking distance.. Cabin does not have a TV. We have a friendly cat.

Summary: Marion was very accommodating the minor details like chocolates and baking were a pleasant surprise. The room had everything we needed. Within walking distance from Tremain Field which is where our concert was. Also close to main township. Definitely recommend to others.

Summary: Perfect little pad for single or couple wanting to attend events in area. Marion was perfect host, and went above and beyond in comfort (think chocolates on bed, home-baking and real milk provided), and the space was delightfully cosy, quiet and conveniently close to Church Road Winery for the concert. Thanks Marion, will definitely stay again!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay, host was friendly and respected our privacy. The breakfast cereal’s, toast and peaches was a lovely touch. Bed was fabulous to sleep on. There is only a curtain to block out the toilet which we didn’t mind but perhaps if your planning a first weekend getaway you might want to rethink (😄). Looking forward to staying there again.
