Less than a 2 mile bike ride (2 bikes provided) from the heart of downtown Beaufort filled with unique shops, antique galleries, boutiques, waterfront restaurants and the Beaufort Marina. Charleston and Savannah are approximately an hour north and south respectively. Backyard, picnic table with umbrella, lawn chairs, gas grill, beach chairs, and large beach umbrella. Tastefully decorated with hardwood floors in bedrooms and dining area, tile in the bathrooms, laundry, kitchen and living room. Ceiling fans in all rooms. 100% cotton bed linens, bath towels, and washcloths. Summary: This property was perfect! The house is adorably decorated, full of charm, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I stayed here for a month to be close to family and could not have been happier. The area is perfect - very quiet and yet quiet close to the quaint waterfront shopping and restaurants. It is also close to the water with several small neighborhood parks walkably close with lovely water views. Tamera was great - always quick to respond and answer any questions. Information is provided in the rental about things to do in the area. There is also a pass to visit the beach at Hunting Island. I highly recommend staying at Kiernan Kottage!

Summary: From driving up the driveway, to entering the cottage, I was very impressed. For once the pictures don’t do it justice. It was decorated very tastefully and so clean! I highly recommend staying here. I know I will if I’m back in the area.
