Positive: Clean. Spacious. Very comfortable bed. Shower and hair dryer were very nice. Lots of choice for breakfast. Dinner was quite fabulous too

Negative: A bit of a maze to get around up to level 3 down to end of hall then back down to level 1 to find our room.

Positive: What a fabulous hotel! I stayed here alone for a work event and everything was perfect. Exceptional bedroom to include Nespresso coffee machine and a Dyson hair dryer! Most comfortable bed I've slept in and the breakfast was super.

Summary: Amazing stay for work. Will return with my family!

Negative: Shower was poor. Cold. Then roasting. Low pressure. Dinner in the bar was ok. Very expensive for what we got. Bed was dipped in the middle and quite uncomfortable.

Negative: Both mornings a lorry arriving at 8 am to collect and off load linen / towels to the hotel. In other parts of hotel you will not hear this but unfortunately we did. Food in restaurant is not great and also the Oak and Anvil not great either. Had to send back one of the children’s meals as it had cheese on it when it wasn’t advertised on the menu. Roast beef dinner came out with no Yorkshire pudding, had to ask for it and was brought out when dinner was finished. Lovely hotel but let down by the standard of its food.

Summary: Nice comfortable hotel with a good pool and gym. We liked the upstairs bar and a good location. Would i come back?? No b
