This rustic cabin is inspired by traditional Italian architecture, and it offers stunning views of the North Georgia mountains and Lake Blue Ridge. Wake up each morning to the fresh mountain air and enjoy breakfast on the chalet's private deck. Then explore the area's numerous hiking trails, go for a swim in the lake only about 10 minutes away, or simply relax in the peaceful surroundings. In the evening, take in the incredible night sky or roast marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit. ( Firewood is not provided.) Whether you're looking for a romantic escape or a family-friendly vacation, the Italian Chalet is sure to create lasting memories.

Other things to note:
We are adding solar lights out front next week. It could be dark when you get over there so just leave your car lights on. The exterior lights are labeled inside the home. The flood light switch is outside the kitchen door to your right. The basement exterior lights are in the bedroom and labeled.
This space has been prepared for guests traveling from out of town!
We love to host guests from out of town who have previously stayed in short-term rentals and earned favorable reviews.

Summary: We had a very relaxing and great vacation! The communication with the agent couldn’t be better. Make sure you bring a 4 wheel drive car for a safer drive and flashlights in case you get to the chalet late at night. Also, the heated floors is a plus when you come in the winter! Summary: We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Our main draw to this property was the proximity to town and the great view, which did not disappoint. The owners responded very quickly to all of our messages. They were very easy to communicate with. The only issue we had here was getting our front wheel drive SUV up the driveway when it was wet. So depending on the time of year, you might need a 4 wheel drive car.

Summary: Overall house was great! A few items need updated and repaired, but felt like a true cabin at the lake. Amazing views from the deck, really breathtaking! Blue Ridge area provided all the activities the family wanted to do including a few days enjoying time on the lake. Would definitely come back!

Summary: The inside is full of unique touches. The view is phenomenal! The driveway is not for the faint of heart! Brandon was very helpful and quickly addressed our concerns- no internet and bears turning over garbage. The inside needs to have lightbulbs replaced. The outside was in need of a cleaning. It is filthy with no outside lighting or in need of bulbs. This needs to be addressed asap!

Summary: Loved our quick stay for the weekend. The view can’t be captured in a photo and the heated primary bathroom tiles were a nice surprise! Hosts were very communicative and kind. I wouldn’t drive in after dark bc the roads are thin, but they aren’t a problem during the day. Beautiful stay! All 3 couples were super happy with their rooms that all had a view.
