Sunhill Cottage is a clean, comfortable and well equipped detached bungalow with 4 bedrooms. It is situated on an elevated site at the end of a private quiet cul de sac overlooking Killorglin town with panoramic views of the McGillycuddy Reeks --- Ireland's highest mountain range. It has a large walled-in garden with gates and private parking area. The cottage is within walking distance on a lighted footpath (sidewalk) to the town centre which has lots of bars and award-winning restaurants and shops. A children's playground is 5 minutes walk from the cottage. It has 2 double bed ensuite bedrooms 1 twin bedroom and 1 double bedroom. Lovely quite walks nearby the river Laune. Rossbeigh beach and children's playground a few kilometres away. Killorglin and Dooks Golf clubs nearby. Mountain climbing to Carrantuohill (1040 M). Boats can be hired for fishing on Caragh Lake. Horse riding on Rossbeigh beach. Rent bikes in Killorglin. Jacks Coastguard seafood restaurant is nearby.

Summary: There are so many great things to say, it’s hard to know where to start. First, Bridget- she is the owner of the property, and made the booking process easy, had great communication, and went above and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of. Not only was the house well-appointed with things like shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, etc., but Bridget also had milk, bread, cheese, butter, berries, eggs, ice cream and chocolate waiting for us! We were traveling with our kids, and it made it extremely easy to have those goodies already at the house. Next- the house/property- The home was clean, set up well, and had an amazing back lawn. There is plenty of space in the house, as well as comfortable common areas for everyone to hang out. The location in relation to the town is also perfect. It is less than half a mile into Killorglin’s center. We walked into town each day, at least once. Finally, the location in general- Killorglin is a cute town, that has great pubs/restaurants, and lots of places to shop and look around. Additionally, the home is on the Ring of Kerry and sits in between Dingle and Killarney. There is really no better location to use as a home base for County Kerry. We had a wonderful time, and look forward to renting Bridget’s place the next time we visit Ireland!

Summary: Three female travelers stayed at Bridget’s Sunhill Cottage for four nights - it was an ideal spot for experiencing the Kerry Peninsula and Inch Beach on the Dingle Peninsula. Within a half-hour drive of Muckross House, we easily found beautiful trails to hike in Killarney National Park. A short walk took us into the town centre of Kilorglin for groceries, cafes and pub meals (had a great evening at Bunkers!). The cottage was clean, very roomy, and well equipped for making some of our own meals and doing laundry. Bridget was a very welcoming and enthusiastic host. Highly recommend this cottage for anyone!

Summary: Perfectly situated to explore the breathtaking views of the ring of Kerry. A short walk to the grocery and restaurants in killorglin. Clean and well stocked. We would visit again! Bridget was a fantastic and accommodating host!!

Summary: We had a fun filled week in Kerry. Bridget's lovely holiday home provided the perfect base for exploring all the Kingdom had to offer. The house was clean, exceptionally well equipped (loved the picnic cooler and flask!!!) and perfectly located, walking distance from town and playground. Highly recommend.

Summary: The house has four bedrooms,full kitchen and everything thing one needs in a home. It’s an easy walk to downtown. The views are spectacular! The house over looks Killorglin and the valley with mountains in the background. It’s the perfect location for touring southwest Ireland. Mr and Mrs Galvin are wonderful hosts and responded promptly to our requests.

Summary: We enjoyed our 5 nights at Sunhill Cottage. The house is at the top of the town of Killorglin and overlooks a beautiful valley. It was very clean, spacious, and had everything we could possibly need for our visit. A great location to tour the Ring of Kerry, The Dingle Peninsula, Killarney, Blarney Castle. Bridget had the table set for 4 when we arrived with fresh scones. Thank you Bridget for a great 5 days.

Summary: We had a lovely time in Killorglin and the surrounding area. The house is very nice- lots of space inside and out. It was also immaculate and had anything and everything we needed. The exception being wifi. The local library is down the street and a Vodafone mobile wifi is available to load with credits - but we arrived after business hours each day (library closed and couldn't get into Vodafone to sort out). Bridget was extremely helpful and thoughtful. She went above and beyond in helping us get into a Skellig Michael tour (totally worth the cost and effort!). Thank you! We recommend this property.

Summary: This Sunhill house was just perfect for our family vacation. We had our six "30-something" adult kids stay here while we kept the grand-kids with us. They could walk into town for anything they needed and it was so centrally located! We all had a birthday celebration dinner there, as the kitchen and dining area were so spacious. The house was immaculate--the parking was perfect and the views were gorgeous. We would highly recommend staying here--the owners were so friendly and accommodating.
