This unit is perfectly located in the bustling area of West Des Moines. Convenient access to Jordan Creek Town Center, Iowa's largest mall, offering tons of shopping, dining, entertainment and more. You're less than a mile away! Getting around the city will be just as easy as you're approximately 5 minutes from the I-35, I-235, and I-80. The unit is updated with newer flooring, paint and more! Comfortable, traditional amenities and furniture will make you feel like you're at home!
The unit is spacious but also offers all the accommodations of home. As you enter the front door, you'll find a coat closet and an entry table. The dining room has seating for 4 with additional seating for 2 at the eat-in kitchen.
The kitchen has all the appliances you would need (toaster, Keurig, microwave, etc) as well as bakeware, kitchen gadgets, etc. Just off the kitchen is the full-size washer/dryer with drying rack, iron, etc.
The living room is cozy with a gas fireplace, couch, side chair and a slider to the patio. The huge, 55" smart TV is ready to go for streaming or there are included channels as well! Wifi is available throughout the unit and you'll also find a pack n' play and high chair for your little ones.
Off the main living area is a full-size bathroom and a small bedroom with a spacious double closet. The master bedroom offers a king bed, tv and dresser. The master has its own bathroom with a stand-up shower and walk-in closet. Both bedrooms have mini-blinds as well as room darkening curtains. In the bedroom closet you'll also find an air mattress and necessary linens.
While I love all pets, there are restricted breeds (Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Akita, Rottweiler, Chow, Doberman Pinscher and Mastiff). The unit is equipped with a device that monitors the noise decibel level, temperature and smoking.

Summary: We arrived and the property we were renting and it had not been cleaned from the previous guests. The property manager informed us there had been a mix up with his cleaning crew. He offered us a different property to hold in until ours was cleaned but couldn't give us a time on how long that would take. We asked if we could just switch our booking to the other property so we could begin to get settled and he said that was not possible. We then requested a refund so that we could use the money to pay for somewhere else to stay. He told us he could only do a partial refund but also couldn't confirm how much that would be as he, "...didn't have the paperwork in front of him". He also said he couldn't get us that information until the next day. Without knowing how much we would even get back we agreed to stay and wait for the property to be cleaned. We tried calling VRBO customer service for assistance and received absolutely no help. We were told it was between us and the property manager. We did enjoy the layout of the accommodations, but the coffee maker did not work and we couldn't find the booster seat that was featured in the photos. I didn't want to continue to "bother" the property manager after our rocky start with those smaller issues.

Summary: This was the perfect spot for our weekend in Des Moines to get away and have fun! The bed was huge and quite comfortable, and the toiletries were perfect too! All in all it was a great place!

Summary: The property was not at all as described. I actually asked the property manager about the type of housing because it was so drastic from the pictures. We pulled up to a dirty building and it got worse. We entered an apartment complex with filthy floors and food that sat there for four days. The apartment was clean but very dated and small. There were apartments on both sides and above us. The Saturday night was horrible, the apartment above had the tv blaring and the tenant was yelling/fighting till past 2:00 am. We just tried to not be at the apartment unless we needed to. The positive it was a great location and close to everything. We did contact the property manager and his response was "you should have checked the area out better".

Summary: Property was as described and loaded with everything you need except a recycle can. Perfect for family of five with dog! Neighbors need a lesson on dog etiquette, but overall it was great experience!

Summary: This property was in a good location and easy to find. The condo was attractive clean. We loved the fireplace and all of the amenities that we needed were provided. We didn’t use the little patio, but enjoyed watching a bunny nibbling the shrubbery outside the window. The parking was tight, but we were able to find spots. We would stay here again.
