Positive: What a beautiful Ryokan in the middle of the lush forest. Both the public and private onsens are fantastic, and guests can book different private baths at no extra charge. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful—when we arrived too late for dinner at the property, the front desk clerk kindly assisted us in suggesting an reserving at a nearby restaurant. Our room was spacious and nicely designed, featuring tatami flooring, low Japanese beds, and a balcony with serene forest views. We truly loved every aspect of our stay. Before departing, we enjoyed a delicious Japanese breakfast.
Negative: We only stayed one night. We will be back. :-)

Positive: The onsen, the kindness and friendliness of the staff, and the options to choose the yukata for our stay.
Negative: We stayed two nights total. The second night we saw a giant bug (adult finger in length) inside the room. We understand the ryokan is located in the mountain and can have bugs and insects (nature). However, it was quite a shock seeing a big bug inside and not knowing where it came from. Luckily, the staff on the night shift was able to come and help us remove the bug.

Positive: A treasure surrounded by nature in its full glory and beauty. Beautiful changing autumn colours , waterfall and outdoor onsen . Great hospitality and service staff are excellent and friendly. Kaiseki menu is excellent
