Walk on the beach to Carsluith Castle and visit the Kirroughtree Mountain Biking Centre. Enjoy the Laggan Outdoor Activity Centre or a day trip to Northern Ireland from Stranraer. Shop, pub and resturant 2 miles.
Winter Fuel Supplement of £60 per week between 1st October and 1st April payable on arrival.
Children must be supervised on site due to possible safety hazards.
Pets must be kept on a lead at all times.

Summary: We had a very special week we should have been four staying but due to different lockdowns only the two of us went but it was fine wonderful weather plenty of places to go all social distancing. Summary: No hesitation in recommending this cottage. It was very comfortable and tastefully decorated, with everything we could need. Amazing view of sunset on the two days we had some sun! Lots of interesting places to explore nearby. We were very well looked after throughout our stay.

Summary: What a lovely spot. Dumfries and Galloway is a hidden gem and Kirkbride Farmhouse is the perfect place to explore from. The house was clean tidy perfect for a family of 6 and probably the best equipped holiday home we’ve stayed in. The view from the sun room was something I didn’t get bored of and the big garden was perfect for four teenagers to get rid of excess energy. A lovely home made cake was waiting for us on arrival. Would highly recommended the farmhouse.

Summary: This is an absolutely beautiful location and a stunning house, our stay here was wonderful we wanted for nothing, we will be booking again. Summary: A nice house in a good location. As a family of 5 we had plenty of room in the house to spread ourselves out. The sun-room was a good additional space that we enjoyed. The house was kept really warm by the central heating. The house is mostly surrounded by fields so is very private. There is a farm building next door, but there was no noise or disruption from there during our stay. The outlook from the house is nice, looking over Wigtown Bay. The A75 is between the house and the coast, but it is plenty far enough from the house to not be at all disruptive. The kitchen is well equipped and we had no trouble finding everything we needed to cook meals.
