Positive: This is the best stay and one of the most memorable experience during our travels in Japan. Yukie and Kevin are incredible hosts, very attentive, helpful and a great company. Very passionate about their house and the area. We did grocery shopping together, enjoyed the tea plantations, cooked dinner together and had the best dinner during our stay. Positive: 10/10 stay! Sadly only for one night, but was totally worth it nonetheless. Yukie & Kevin are the sweetest couple, going out of their way to make you feel comfortable and for you to have an authentic and great experience. Yukie taught us how to write our names in calligraphy kanji, and how to make a matcha mochi cake, we had a really nice dinner all together and Kevin’s homebrew beer is amazing. The house is so beautiful and clean and cozy and in a peaceful forest. Was the best sleep of my trip. It’s a bit isolated but Yukie picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, so that was no issue. Perfect base to explore Wazuka. Thanks for everything!

Positive: Yukie and Kevin were excellent hosts and Yukie’s breakfasts were an unexpected delight. The house is set deep in exquisite countryside, surrounded by wooded hills. We visited Kyoto, both by train and by car, and also saw a local temple and tea plantation. Our hosts and other people in the small village couldn’t have been more helpful when we had some problems - they ensured we were able to continue with our trip. We would love to come again one day.

Positive: We absolutely fell in love with the Kizuna Guesthouse! The house is beautiful, so comfortable and cozy. The surroundings are stunning and peaceful, and above all, what a wonderful welcome! Yukie and Kevin were amazing hosts. They welcomed us so warmly and gave us lots of great advice, there is so much to see and do in the area. It was more than just a guesthouse, it was a true immersion in Japanese culture, thanks to everything that Yukie and Kevin shared with us. And last but not least, the breakfast prepared by Yukie was absolutely delicious! We stayed there with our two children and would have loved to stay longer, as we felt so at home. One thing is certain: if we’re lucky enough to return to Japan one day, we’ll definitely come back to the Kizuna Guesthouse!

Positive: This was hands down one of the highlights of our trip. Yukie and Kevin are exceptional hosts that went above and beyond to make this a really memorable stay. Together with their lovely cats they really make it feel like you're at home. They drove us from and to the train station, provided interesting trip ideas and even gave a caligraphy lesson. The breakfasts were amazing and each dinner was full of great food and laughter. The futon beds were very comfortable and the room very clean. Thanks once again for an amazing stay, we wish we could have stayed longer.
