Knighton Villa, which was FULLY & LOVINGLY RE-DECORATED in late 2023, is located on the exclusive Knighton Church Road in the fashionable and highly regarded leafy suburb of South Knighton, lying approximately 2 miles to the south of Leicester city centre.
Knighton Villa is a superb and deceptively spacious palisaded Victorian villa, re-decorated (including flooring), to a high standard throughout in November 2023. Knighton Villa provides a stylish, individual and versatile home for modern-day living. The living accommodation includes: an attractive sitting room (sun trap), a second sitting room with open fire and sofa bed, a 23 foot open-plan dining kitchen, a separate downstairs WC and washbasin, a first floor landing providing access to three newly carpeted bedrooms, two of which are very generous in size, as well as the shared bathroom. The property enjoys an attractive, deep, southerly-facing rear garden, enjoying a pleasant rear leafy aspect. The house is pet friendly.
Knighton Villa is well served for everyday amenities and services including renowned public and private schooling, Leicester City Centre, the University of Leicester, De Montfort University, Leicester Racecourse, plus the Leicester Royal Infirmary and the Leicester General hospitals. It is conveniently located for nearby Oadby, Queens Road and Allandale Road which all have specialist shops, bars, boutiques and restaurants, as well as both the Leicester City Football Club and Leicester Tigers grounds.
You will be renting the entire 3-bedroom property, which includes 2 reception / living rooms, and a stunning living kitchen diner in excess of 23 feet. There is a family bathroom upstairs with over-bath shower, as well as a separate toilet WC downstairs. The villa has many appliances including dishwasher, washing machine, Bosch Tassimo coffee machine, Amazon Alexa and Samsung Smart TV 55". Fibre WiFi (in excess of 100 mbps) is available throughout.

Summary: The house was nice but the cleaning was not. There was no dining table as advertised - which was disappointing as we want to do a family meal. Also I would definitely not describe the kitchen as well stocked.

Summary: The area that the house is in appears affluent and we felt safe to walk around there. The house itself is lovely and a great size for a family, however, we did encounter some cleanliness/maintenance issues.

Summary: Communication was great and check in was super easy and accessible. The house had really good facilities and it was in a very clean, quiet and friendly neighbourhood. I had my dog with me too and it was very dog friendly. My only comment would be the fence in the back of the garden was broken, so I had to keep my dog on a lead whenever she went out, because she could have gone through the fence and shrub area at the back of the house and then out on to the street begund it. The furniture was all very comfy and usable. Fit 5 people very well and was spacious. Thank you for having us! :)

Summary: Unfortunately during our stay we had to point a number of issues out to the property owner by email. They have sent the list of items to their cleaners/ maintenance person as there were several cracks and marks on walls/ ceilings that should have been looked at prior to guests staying and carpets were dirty in several places including the main bedroom. There is also a small hole in the bathroom window they are now having fixed and a window is being secured by shoe laces as there is no latch. It is unfortunate these items were not reported by the previous guest the week before we arrived as it may have given the owners time to address the issues prior to our stay.
