4 Bedroom House in Lemon Tree Passage

This charming waterside Cottage has uninterrupted water views and is just a two minute flat stroll to the Marina and the excellent cafes of this tranquil bayside village.
It's a short stroller push to a kids' park and a great netted tidal pool with a sandy beach. You can fish off the adjacent wall, or 40 metres from the cottage's front deck!
There are endless things to do: keep an eye out for dolphins and koalas as you use the bike track and board walk; launch your boat from the village boat ramp and wave to anyone who voted to stay on the front deck as you motor by.
The village boasts a liquor store, butcher's shop, chemist, and medical centre. The local eateries range from a superb upmarket restaurant to the excellent fish and chip and pizza places, and cafes.
The large Bowling Club is in walking distance with a courtesy bus and meals 7 days a week.
You can get bread and milk etc. in the village. However, if you choose to prepare your own meals in the cottage's well equipped kitchen, the small shopping centre is less than 5 minutes drive away -near the 18 hole golf course and RSL club. It includes a Coles supermarket.
Your Accommodation:
No. 1 Master Bedroom has stunning water views - queen bed, ensuite, 40" TV and DVD player and built ins. Its private courtyard is a great spot for a cuppa and has the same great views.
No. 2 bedroom has water views, queen bed and built ins.
No. 3 bedroom has water views, a double + single bunk combo and built ins.
No. 4 bedroom has a two single beds and built ins.
The family bathroom has a bath, shower and toilet and there is a 3rd toilet near the living area.
Loungeroom has a 42" TV with built in DVD player.
The kitchen/dining/lounge area is open plan and has reverse cycle air conditioning. (All rooms have ceiling fans)
The fully equipped kitchen has a stove-top, a convection/microwave oven and dishwasher. There is no conventional oven.
The laundry is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron.
There is a 5 burner gas BBQ and utensils out the back.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at Koala Cottage, which is comfortable and fitted out with everything you need. The view from the front veranda adds to the relaxed feeling of the cottage and area. Some great walks in both directions from the cottage, plenty of bird life, a variety of takeaway options and an enclosed swimming area, great for adults and kids.

Summary: Koala Cottage is a delightful place to stay. Set in lovely surroundings it is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Summary: Everything was lovely, a nice relaxing spot to just relax and recharge. Cafe close by and a few takeaways if you didn’t want to cook. The large grass area out the front is also perfect for children.

Summary: Our stay at Koala Cottage was very relaxing. It was clean, tidy, and homely. Lovelty sitting on the verandah overlooking the water frontage. Plenty of room to play outdoor games out the front or fish along the waters edge. Loved that everything was supplied from utensils, linen, high chair, plenty of crockery, to the basics like salt, pepper and paper towel.

Summary: We wanted to book in Nelson Bay but the pricing was too much. We wanted somewhere in that vicinity to entertain our son & his American family whilst out here in OZ. This place turned out to be just right, overlooking the park & water. Everything that a family needed, not leftovers like you find in weekenders, but complete & new right down to the night light. The only downsize was we did not see any Koalas - Koala Cottage. We had a great time. This place was great for families with young children.

Summary: This has to be one of the best equipped holiday accommodations we have ever stayed in. Plenty of room for all eight of us without feeling crowded and the close proximity to the playground, kiddies beach and the view is fabulous.
