The focal point is the artificial, 35,000 square meter bathing island in Steinhude in the south with a sandy beach and sunbathing areas. The guarded bathing beach "White Dune" on the north shore in Mardorf lures. The surf beach is also nearby. Guests who prefer to be sailed rather than lend a hand on the boat are in good hands on an excursion on a passenger ship or the emigrants. Golfers will find two golf courses in Rehburg-Loccum and Mardorf.
