Positive: It is hard to find a place in Japan to house families with 2 or more kids over 10 years old. For this price with three rooms and total of five beds and capacity to add beds, this is perfect. I was also looking for a villa with hot bath or onsen. We visited in end Dec and I needed a place near the Shimabara car ferry as we had a tight schedule the next day. Many hotels were fully booked so I chose this villa with a hot bath described, not knowing how it was like (at that point there were no reviews on booking.com) It turned out that the hot bath was the best part of the winter stay. The owner let the bath run once we arrived and it was so so good with the open air ambiance. There was free Netflix to watch and free wifi was also easy to connect. Fully furnished like a hotel and feels like a luxurious villa. Many furnishings were of good quality and fully fitted with dishwasher and cooking hobs, big fridge. It is what you get as per the pictures. Recommended for families and big groups for the big space in living and dining and entertainment area. We really loved that the owner met us and gave us an introduction to the place and the facilities with the help of google translate. There is a bbq area which we didn’t use but could imagine the fun for longer stays. There is also an outdoor patio to chill, overlooking rice padi fields. Just a very beautiful place. Parking was convenient. The location on Google map is incorrect. It should be the house beside the blue car.

Negative: It might be a handful to watch over very young kids as the stairs have no railings and there are steps on first floor

Summary: Reasonably priced and value for money. Wonderful experience and the kids were disappointed we didn’t stay longer.
