Positive: I loved the onsen and it made the whole stay wonderful. After a long day walk can’t argue with an onsen to yourself. Facilities were good and I was able to cook what I needed to eat. Without a car you would have trouble though as it is no where near restaurants or general stores.

Negative: Distance to food outlets but I was aware of this before I booked and with a car it is ok

Negative: The public bath was under the space so I could hear sounds and a working motor pumping the water all night. I couldn't sleep well;(

Negative: The location was a bit impractical and the sleeping room could use a deep clean. The beds were not great and we had to make our own beds.

Positive: Very good value, clean rooms and very spacious. Very friendly staff.

Negative: Unfortunately they were having boiler problems, so I didn't get to use my private onsen spa or take a hot shower. When it's all working though, it should be awesome. Unfortunately it's some way out of town. There is a bus near, but it's timetable is limited.
