Positive: The room was very spacious and clean
Negative: The acoustics are terrible so every person that talks or walks, late at night or early morning, is heard. It was very difficult. Also, the bathroom was OK, but not cleaned enough. Given that it is shared it should be cleaned more often

Positive: It is near Ogizawa station if you will further travel to Tateyama and also near Hakuba.
Negative: The lady at the reception is quite confused as to which rooms are occupied and vacant. As she was trying to find an empty room for our group, she just opened the doors of the other rooms without knocking, and two of those rooms were already occupied. First, she should have knocked since that is totally inappropriate to simply barged in the rooms of the guests; second, she should know which rooms are vacant and occupied from a list.
Summary: They could improve the basic etiquette on how to handle guests especially the Chinese lady at the reception.

Positive: Spotless clean and new property. Easy check-in. I liked the noise from the train (and it stopped before I went to sleep anyway). Friendly staff, though no one spoke English we made it work!
Negative: We read such glowing reviews of the hot pot restaurant, but it wasn't open the day we were there! Not sure why. Also, be aware that there are no full size towels, you get a small individually wrapped disposable towel, and no robe. This made the shared bathroom situation a bit more difficult, but workable.

Positive: We booked this place last minute due to an issue with our original accommodation and ended up staying 15 nights, it completely exceeded our expectations. The hotel is brand new (only open a few weeks when we stayed), and you can really feel the care and attention that has gone into it. We arrived late and were warmly welcomed by the owners, who helped us settle in straight away. The team were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always happy to assist with local tips and anything we needed. The hotel is run by a lovely owner from Hong Kong and features an excellent in-house restaurant serving hot pot and Japanese BBQ. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the owner even took the time to explain how to enjoy it traditionally, which made the experience even more special. It was also fantastic value for the quality. The property was spotlessly clean at all times, with a small communal kitchen, separate male and female bathrooms, and comfortable, spacious rooms. They also offer breakfast (which looked great) and provide local and longer-distance shuttle services if arranged in advance. Overall, we had such a positive experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, and well-run place to stay.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is very good value for money, and the property feels very new as it has been recently renovated. The breakfast is included and the portions are very generous, which was a great start to our days. The hotel is a great choice for anyone planning to visit Hakuba. The owner and all the staff are extremely nice and helped us a lot during our stay, making everything much easier and more comfortable for us. The owner is also a snowboarder and gave us many excellent recommendations for different ski resorts and slopes, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended for travelers heading to Hakuba!
Negative: As the place is quite new, some small details are still being adjusted and improved. Hope will be better and better.
