Positive: We had an incredible stay at L’Olmo. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a glass of wine of our choosing. The staff went above and beyond and the service was brilliant. They secured the suite I requested, arranged a morning horse ride and serviced a full three course meal in the suite for my birthday. There was also a bottle of wine waiting in the room with a birthday card. The grounds are incredibly beautiful and everything is immaculately clean and well maintained. We purchased some of their own brand olive oil also which was so delicious! 10/10 stay and will definitely be returning. I also received a Christmas card following my stay - thank you all so much.
Negative: When booking your stay through booking.com it doesn’t secure you a specific suite/room even if you’re paying a premium. So you don’t actually know what you’re paying for despite the pictures it suggests, I had to request a specific suite with the hotel. Thankfully this was accommodated by the lovely staff but given the rooms are different, some being standard rooms and some suits. I would have been disappointed to turn up and given a standard room for the price played (£500+ per night).

Positive: Breakfast was very good with large selection and can be served in either dining room, outside your room or anywhere on the property. I will say that the staff went above and beyond our wildest expectations. I can not say enough about Julia and Gabriella- they are two of the most helpful, accommodating, informative managers I have ever had the great good pleasure to deal with. They will do anything to make your stay the best. All the staff are courteous, gracious and helpful. If you are planning on staying in the Tuscany area don't even think of going anywhere else. It is centrally located to all the towns that you have heard so much about.

Positive: Breakfast had very good options, especially if you are staying for more than 2 days. The ability to choose a location was very nice. I wish there was an option to pick the court yard area. Very beautiful boutique hotel. Location was perfect, very short drive to many villages in the area. Very quite, with very attentive staff. Rooms were well appointed and maintained. Very spacious and felt like being home.
Negative: Our only concern/ change we would suggest is the ability to have dinner/ lunch in the hotel without having to choose your options the day in advance. We never had dinner or lunch as we never knew what our daily plans would be.
Summary: Very beautiful boutique hotel. Location was perfect, very short drive to many villages in the area.
