Positive: Everything was perfect. The accomodation was beautiful and in a beautiful location. The host was an absolutely amazing human and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. A truly magical experience that I would advise to anyone. The kitchen is a good size with a door to the balcony which has a table. There is Aircon which was extremely welcome in the 36° heat and you can pre-book dinner or wine, we didn't take advantage of this offer but may do next time. The beds are comfortable and large, with a changing room just off the bedroom area. The bathroom is large and clean with a waterfall shower. All in all an amazing experience that I would definitely repeat if I ever come back to Italy.

Negative: The public transport is rare. Not major, there is a bus at 8:30 which takes you to gavardo but if you miss that it's a 30 minute walk. Then there are plenty of buses from gavardo to the lake. This wasn't really an issue for us as we don't mind walking but should definitely be something to keep in mind as most of the walk is along the road without a footpath.

Positive: Ornella and Valerio were amazing hosts and the apartment was really nice. They offer additional services, like evening meals in the vineyard, which we took advantage of and highly recommend. It was a really pleasant stay for us and we would definitely stay there should we happen to visit the area again in the future. Location is quite good too, only a 10 min drive from Salo'.
