The house of Chien, CITRA 009029-LT-0766,
is a welcoming villa ideal for relaxing holidays between the green and the sea. The house is located in the small village of Varigotti Chien on the hillside in a beautiful natural setting surrounded by olive trees. The landscape, the gardens and terraces of this house will be the first features that will leave you in awe.
Moreover atmosphere, parking, garden, terrace and the possibility to bring your dog, are the features that can make you enjoy your holiday. My accommodation is suitable for couples, families with children and groups of friends for up to 8 people. Unfortunately we can not accommodate cats for allergy problems from some elements of the owning family.
Inside you will find the cozy living room with fireplace and sofa bed, the kitchen, a small bathroom and the dining room. Through the elevator or taking the stairs outside, you can go upstairs. Here you will find two bedrooms, a bathroom and a large terrace.
room 1: double bed and possibility of adding a cot. Sea view and access to the terrace.
room 2: a bunk bed and two single beds that can also be combined into a double bed depending on the needs of the guests. Sea View.
You can access the house by car or with a beautiful path through the olive groves to go on foot in 3 minutes.
There are two parking spaces available: one directly behind the house and reachable by car along a slightly winding road which, I recommend only to people who are safe and expert in driving; the second, with private access, is located just below the village and connects directly to the path between the olive trees mentioned above. My advice is to use this last as faster to both the home and in the country. Country and beach are 15 cc min from home on foot or by car.
Guests will be completely independent.
I will be in the house opposite the entrance. So if necessary, you should have no trouble to find me.
At check-in and check-out will be present!
The area is completely surrounded by nature: you get lost between the blue sea that occupies much of the view between the green of nature that surrounds the house.
To reach the center, beach and shops it takes 15 minutes. My advice is to use the car as little in busy periods in the country there is little parking available.
Varigotti offers several beaches, beaches, beaches equipped, beach volleyball, restaurants, open-air cinema and shops for basic necessities.
For those who love the beach recommend spending at least one day in the beach of the bay of the Saracens. Here the sea and the beach make you forget for a moment to be in Liguria: clear water, shallow water, fine sand and clear characterize it.
Varigotti also offers two beaches equipped for dogs.
Very nice is also the center of the country, characterized by typical houses in Saracen style, from the square and the pier.
For those who prefer walking, Varigotti offers choice:
you can climb the tower or to the old medieval church of San Lorenzo;
walking up the hills in the village of Pino or climbing into Manie plan
For those who are sportier and prefers mountain biking, from Manie plan start different paths made especially for this discipline.
Once a year it organizes an international competition that takes place right in between these paths. The Final 24h

Moving on Finale Ligure you can also practice climbing
For the good gustai, I recommend trying one of the many typical trattorias that are located inland between Le Manie and Finale Ligure.
From Varigotti you can easily reach different locations of the Riviera: Noli, Finale, Spotorno, Loano, Albenga and Savona
On the main road there is also a bus stop connecting to all these countries.
Here you can find various entertainment such as amusement park, mini golf, movies, bowling and more

Summary: The view from the garden is magnificent, and the house was really nice inside. There is air conditioning in both of the bedrooms, which are upstairs, but we also had a lovely cooling breeze through the house - even at the start of July. There is a sofa bed in a separate living room area downstairs, with its own access to the garden so this worked really well for our 15 year old son. one of the nicest things about staying here was sitting outside in the evenings, enjoying the view, and amazingly the sound of the sea lapping on the pebble beach, even though it is quite far away. Also, no discos or music - very quiet all the time!

Summary: This is a beautiful multi-level property, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and a kitchen, breakfast area, dining room (with armchairs), living room/bedroom 3 and shower room downstairs There is plenty of room for a family (we are a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 teenagers). It has the added fun of a lift from the breakfast area to the upstairs bedrooms (there are also outside stairs). The best thing about this property are the stunning sea views which there are from the garden and most of the windows, these are totally gorgeous both day and night! Outside there are several terraces to sit on including a roof terrace, garden terrace with a small pool (with room for 4 to sit in), a terrace with a vine covered table and a grassed terrace to sun bathe - all with the sea views! The garden itself is lovely with both sunny and shady areas.The house is very comfortable, pretty and well equipped. Silvia was great at meeting us on our arrival and once she had showed us where to park she drove our luggage up to the house and showed us around. Silvia was very helpful and friendly! There is an lockable car park area below the house, then a climb of around 200 steps to the house itself. It is possible to drive up to the house and park but we didn't try as the road is tricky and we were happy to climb the steps. The views made the climb absolutely worthwhile! We enjoyed visiting Varigotti (which is walkable from the house if you are happy with the stepped path). It has some nice restaurants and an attractive old town area with a family friendly good beach (both private and public areas). One evening when we were there there was a small craft market and live band playing, which gave a lovely atmosphere. Finale Ligure is a 10 min drive with plenty of good sea front restaurants, an old town area and Piazza. Noli is a 10 min drive in the opposite direction from the house. We particularly enjoyed the small pretty old town and beaches there. Yes we would definitely visit this house and area again!

Summary: A very comfortable villa with a wonderful terraced garden with views on every level. Comfortable main bedroom, smaller second bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen and roomy downstairs. Views must be some of the best in Italy. Talk to Silvia about access to the property - either many stairs or a drive along a hilly and narrow road. Silvia is very helpful and friendly - lives opposite at weekends and is very helpful with checking in and out and shifting bags and easily available on the telephone during the week.

Summary: The property is great, the view is fantastic, Silvia is very friendly and super responsive. The kitchen was fully usable with plenty of pots and pans, full amenities, and basic supplies. The house has a very solid feeling and everything works. The garden is well maintained and plants are lovely. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. Access is however a bit difficult. It is not really accessible by car to just anyone, the road being narrow, steep in sections and sinuous. But it is really only a 2-3 minute walk up from the parking area via stairs. Unfortunately, we didn't understand this when we reserved. The walk to town is not that far and I even biked back up the hill along the main road once with my 8 year old daughter. With her specialized knowledge of the road, Silvia was there upon our arrival to bring our things from the parking area to the house with her car. And when we left, she was there to help bring them back down so we really didn't have much trouble but took some coordinating. We would gladly stay again.
